JAINEE College of Education is a “College of Teacher Education” started by the JAINEE HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE TRUST in Dindigul, Tamilnadu with effect from the academic year 2012-13. The JAINEE HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE TRUST is formed and registered during the year 1999 under the Indian Trust Act. The Trust is extending various Health and Educational activities in and around Dindigul for more than a decade.
The JAINEE HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE TRUST which has already won a golden cap in running and producing good quality and dedicated Nurses to serve the public at large for the past Seven years now decided to produce good quality and dedicated teachers also. Hence the JAINEE College of Education is born for conducting the B. Ed. degree course to start with in education.
Prof. K. Thilagavathi, who is the founder of the Trust always trust that ‘Health’ and ‘Education’ are the two eyes of the society which only lights the human life with the bright future. Hence, the Trust concentrated more on health and education.
JAINEE College of Education , is recognized by the National Council for Teachers Education, Bangalore and affiliated to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University. JAINEE College of Education is situated with in 10 KMs from the city of Dindigul along the Four Lane National Highway at Dindiugl- Theni Road. The college is situated in the 20 acres educational campus of the Jainee Educational Group of Institutions. The college is having an excellent infra of highly ventilated buildings with natural environment. The academic block is having a glassy finishing of floors and steps and be maintained to offer a neat and liking environment for study. Excellent Laboratories and fully equipped Library are an added advantage. The college own Transport facilities and hostel with mess facilities are also available for the needed students.
